Tarot Stripped BareContinuing the mission to convince the world that Tarot is no more evil than a fluffy bunny and, what’s more, that Tarot cards are an excellent trick for anyone to have up their sleeve at a party, we’ve just launched an agony-aunt style advice column for wannabe Tarot readers.

Designed to complement our no-nonsense how-to DVD Tarot Stripped Bare, the new website invites Tarot novices to consult the Tarot Doctor who will cure any niggling Tarot aches and pains in a firm yet friendly manner. Whether you’re confused by Cups or puzzled by Pentacles (or even scared to death of Death), the Tarot Doctor will get you back up to shuffling speed in no time, hopefully with a fresh copy of the DVD tucked under one arm.

Backslasher production continues…

January 22, 2010 tim Leave a comment

Snow stopped play earlier in the month for the Backslasher production team, but now everything starts again on the 31st of January, with new filming dates announced in Leicester. The film is due to be released later this year, and has been called a “Scream-like” slasher film. Yay, go Scream 4! With a high body count based around a killer stalking people on a social networking website it’s also a cautionary and contemporary tale. Sound familiar? I hope not…

Head to the Videos page to see some in-production footage.

Reality Films royalties in…

January 20, 2010 tim 2 comments

Last year we penned a distribution deal with Reality Films for the non-exclusive U.S. distribution rights to Tarot Stripped Bare, and also agreed to create some more special interest DVDs for their product line-up including Legend of the Serpent with Phil Gardiner. This new DVD outsold Tarot Stripped Bare three times over during the second half of 2009, but we’re still celebrating the order we had from Amazon UK for 9 units of our home grown Tarot DVD a couple of weeks ago :-)

Under The Hammer released

January 18, 2010 tim Leave a comment

Last year, along with the uber popular Senior Moments boardgame we created Under The Hammer. Originally intended for mass market, Under The Hammer was created to be a family ‘gateway’ game, based on buying and selling antiques and changing market demand to increase your profits. Unfortunately, the manufacturer didn’t want both games in the end and took Senior Moments (which is now one of their top sellers!) so we’ve ended up with a print ready game on the digital shelf… but not anymore :-)

Point your browsers to http://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/under-the-hammer and you’ll see the game available as print on demand. More suited to U.S. gamers (shipping costs $43 to the UK for one game!) you can now enjoy Under The Hammer in all its glory until such time as we find a mass market manufacturer. Sell high – buy low – it’s simple isn’t it?
